Shark Harbour and Avalon

Today I got up at 4.30 to head out to Shark Harbour for the "Dawn Patrol". Although I didn't surf, I did go for a hike around the tidepools and up the Cottonwood trail. We returned in enough time for breakfast number 2.

Later, I gave my 6-minute presentation on goat tying. We learned how to survive a Pierson Family Thanksgiving, Tahitian dancing, oragami fish making, and how to read sonagrams of various marine mammals. killah.

We headed to Avalon, City by the Sea for the afternoon. We ate sushi at Flips and hung out eating chocolate covered caramel apples, milkshakes and all sorts of candy.
I got to finally call the fam and the Chris and it was nice to hear thier voices.

I took a short hike and saw a Catalina Island Fox burrow.
The evening study was Marine Mammals.

A male sea otter, weighs 100 pounds and is approximately 5 feet long. A bit like me dont you think?
